Privacy.

The short version: this website doesn't track you, set advertising cookies, or run analytics. Here's the detail.

This website

clickarvelos.com is a static informational site. It has no accounts, no login, and no shopping cart. It does not set tracking or advertising cookies, run analytics, or use ad networks. We don't build a profile of you.

Fonts

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches those font files, Google receives your IP address as part of that request, subject to Google's own privacy terms. We don't send Google anything else about you, and we receive nothing back.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site, as described in Cloudflare's privacy terms. We don't add our own logging on top of that.

If you email us

When you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message. We use that only to reply and to help you, and we don't sell it or share it with anyone who isn't helping us answer you.

Arvelos Form Monitor

Arvelos Form Monitor is a paid, hosted service that periodically runs a controlled synthetic test against the WordPress Contact Form 7 forms you ask us to watch, and alerts you if the tested path stops working. When you use it, we handle the data described below. The sections above still describe this website; the sections that follow apply to the hosted service.

Your account and site details

We store the email address for your account and billing; the WordPress site address(es) you connect; the identifiers of the forms you ask us to monitor (the Contact Form 7 form ID, the page the form is on, and any label you give it); the alert email address you choose to receive notifications; and a per-site identifier and secret we use to confirm that requests genuinely come from your site.

Billing details

Payments are handled by Stripe. We store the customer, subscription, and status identifiers Stripe gives us so we know your plan is active — we never receive or store your card number. During signup we also store a one-way hashed form of the connecting IP address to limit abuse; we do not keep the raw IP address.

Monitoring results

We store the history and current status of each monitored form: when a test ran, what triggered it, its result (pass, fail, unsupported, or inconclusive), and a short technical note describing that result. These notes never contain the contents of any form submission.

What the synthetic test does — and what we deliberately do not keep

  • Our test submits fixed, clearly-labelled placeholder values (for example, "Arvelos synthetic test — please ignore"). We do not store the contents of those synthetic submissions.
  • We do not receive or store your real visitors' form submissions. The companion plugin only changes a form's behaviour for a single request that carries a valid, single-use Arvelos token; ordinary visitor submissions are untouched and are never sent to us.
  • The synthetic test's own notification email is routed to an Arvelos-controlled test mailbox, not to your real recipients — the plugin strips any To/Cc/Bcc so the test cannot reach a real inbox. We record only that the test notification arrived; we do not store its contents.

Who processes this data for us

  • Cloudflare hosts the service, runs the synthetic browser test, stores the data above, delivers alert emails, and receives the test-mailbox notifications (Cloudflare Workers, the D1 database, Queues, Browser Rendering, and Email Routing and Sending).
  • Stripe processes subscription payments; we do not store card data.
  • We do not run third-party web analytics, advertising, or visitor tracking in the service.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, site, and monitoring data while you use the service, and we may keep it for a period after you remove a site or cancel your subscription so that you can reactivate. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected], and we will delete it except for limited billing, accounting, or security records we may be required to keep. As above, the contents of synthetic tests are not stored, and your real visitors' submissions are never received or stored by the service.

The honest boundary

A passing test only confirms that our controlled synthetic test completed and that its test notification reached our test mailbox. It is not proof that a real visitor's message reached your inbox, and Arvelos never reads or verifies your real inbox. A failing or "unsupported" result means only that we could no longer complete our synthetic test — not that your form is necessarily broken.
